Mr. Blitstein graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a B.A. in Economics and spent one year at the London School of Economics. After receiving his J.D. from Duke University and having passed the Illinois Bar Exam, Sherwood worked for the law firm of Arnstein and Lehr for three years, specializing in matters pertaining to commercial real estate. For the following 14 years, Sherwood worked for Centrum Properties, located in Chicago, IL where he was a principal of the Company. While at Centrum, Sherwood’s focus was the development of Walgreens Drug stores and overseeing retail leasing.  Sherwood was directly responsible for the development of thirty Walgreens Drug stores during that period.

Mr. Dresdner graduated from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana with a bachelor’s degree in finance. He then worked as a commercial real estate lender for the First Commercial Bank of Chicago for three years and then LaSalle Bank for six years. In 1995, David was hired by Bruce Abrams of LR Development Company (LR), now known as Related Midwest, as Vice President of Acquisitions and Development. During his nine years at LR, David became a Senior Vice President and a key principal of the Company. LR was renown nationwide for accomplishments including: high-end residential high-rise developments, mixed-use projects, low-income housing development, historic preservation and adaptive re-use. While at LR, David was directly responsible for acquisitions, financing and overseeing development projects ranging in size from $20m to $250m.
